easist way to enlarge cutout??

anyone have any tips on making the sub cutout diameter a tad larger on a enclosure maybe like 1/8", just got a bigger basket ??? Sandpaper would take forever any other ideas

Anything that works fast will work too fast, you know.

If you were super steady with a router.

I would use sandpaper. It's only 1/16 around.

id use a round wheel that goes on your chordless drill and has sandpaper on the outside

Hey egg, I use these all the time and they work great. Sears also sells this device that has a neck for mounting in your drill and instead of a sanding drum it has like miniature sanding paddles all the way around. Either one works great for enlarging a hole without screwing it up completely, just go round and round until the hole is big enough.

jigsaw with a steady hand and be done with it. Otherwise router with a bevel bit will work as you don't really need to cut through the entire 3/4" or however thick the baffle is....

I usually use a jigsaw, but next time the problem happens im gonna try a dremel.
