Easiest way to extend 4ga

I need to extend my 4ga power and grounds by about 5-7ft. I had to do this about 5 or 6 years ago and was able to get an extender from a local shop, but I'm looking for something online and can't seem to find it. I don't have access to a welder either. Suggestions?

distro block or strip both pieces and twists ends together in sections then tape or shrink sleeve

small piece of scrap copper conduit from home depot and use as a coupler. Use the vice to crimp it.

why pay $4+ for something u could do for next to nothing, the cost of some tape...

I don't want the tape's adhesive melting in the summer. Plus I don't exactly know how to twist two 4ga wires together..
