thinkin of adding a 250amp chevy 1 wire to the civicand run 2 D9's off a 16volt bat bank but was lookin for optins on building a batt. bank ie. 8volt batteries or 16volt batts and a link tothe batterie you would use for this. thanks

adding as in a second alt?

run 1/0 to the back and either 1/0 or copper/alum bars between batts.

I'd stick to 16v batts since space/weight might be an issue

ok I sould have clairified what 16volt batts should I use as in best bang for my buck

XS Power D1000 or S1000.Kinetik also makes a 3 post 16v battery.With the added weight you might want to look into some suspension mods as well.

I agree,I would go with a 16v bank....A kinetik actually has a twin bank bat that is 12v on one side and 16 on the other..Nice stuff!

cool thanks for the help. I allready have 3 deka's in the back that will be replaced by the 16volt batts I don't think i'll need more than 3-4 to run 2 D9's at .25 each. iwearpro it says you are a kinetic dealer would you mind sendin a pm for what it would be for 3 batts. Also I don't need the 3 post batts i'll keep my 12 elec. for the car and just run a 2nd alt at 16 for the D9's
