Earthquake 15" subwoofer

hey guys

looks like santy came early

got this sub yesterday, swapped an amp for this sub

the previous owner was doing 147dB with it and im gonna try do more

has anyone had experience with this sub cos it looks like it isn't too popular on the forum

does anyone have any box recommendations before i decide? slot ported or 4 4" flared ports?

i will be powering it with a Rockford Power T8002

Looks like the same parts that everyone else uses. But boy is that cone ugly. Good luck.

That's what I was about to say. But I've seen other subs that may have been manufactured by TC sounds that looked alike as well.

Does it have box sizes on the Earthquake site? And you said you are aiming at SPL? Try a bigger box, 5-6 cubes tuned to high 40s/low 50s?

yes it does give box specs on the website but i was hoping someone has had experience with these and played with different box sizes....

is eartthquake a good brand in the US cos here in South africa its quite an el-cheapo product
