E8s For Mid-Bass?

Im not really getting any bass over 70Hz, and have a gap from 46Hz-59Hz that doesnt play well either. My LPFs are at 90Hz, so its not that. This box is tuned lower then the last one I was using, and sounds much better in the low end, as it should. I listen to a lot of rock and techno though, and want to fill in the gaps. I havent hooked the Crescendo comps up yet, but I doubt they will put out as much mid bass as I want.

I was thinking of getting a pair of E8s and seal them in the rear deck, and cross them around 150Hz or so. Anyone try using them for their mid-bass? Would doing something like that blend alright? Im not looking for perfect SQ or anything, so imaging doesnt matter to me. Just want a nice even output across the low and mid range.

whats you HPF at?
90Hz, its not the filters cause it was alright till the box changed.

6x9s would be easy, since thats whats in the rear deck now. But not sure they would compair to a set of E8s. Will consider though. Probably going to need a new amp one way or the other. Thinking of a Crescendo 1000C4. Could push a little over 100 to those, or bridge the rear channels for 500w to a pair of E8s.

I was also thinking of having a box made to go behind the center console since no one ever sits in the middle back seat.
