Dying Auto Carpet *Help needed*

Alright I have some grey carpet for my four door.

I want to change it to black.

What is some good products to dye it (not aerosol)

The spray can stuff just seems to make the carpet hard.

Also if someone has done this before let me know a few steps on how to get it done right.

from what i was reading, none of them are really good. In the long run its probably better just to buy a new carpet from like stockinteriors.com

See new carpet is about 260 I just dont wanna spend that money if I dont have to.
