DXZ945MP no sound rears during cd

Hey got my DXZ945MP a while ago and i keep forgetting to ask this but when i put on the radio, then i get rear speaker fill, but if i switch to CD then the rears are gone and only my fronts play. I have the fronts and sub to an amp but the rears or hooked to the deck. any answers?
