DVD player problem

**** I bought a dvd player from this dude... well I Traded him and for some reason the dvd player doenst turn off with the car. And TRUST ME I KNOW ITS CONNECTED UP RIGHT! so dont ask me to reconnect it up right. I KNOW FOR A FACT it was connected up right.

WHAT would cause this to happen? bad conenction inside the unit? It is under warrenty so I could shit it out...

also when I got the unit USPS ****ed it up... cause like the buttons had poped off and stuff and also all of the paper work was all ripped up...

Im alil buzzed from drinkin alot so if my writihng is alil bad ignore it.

no its connected up right... duh its not hard to connect up 3 wires... red to red... yellow to yellow... and black to black.

where is the power coming from? hook it up to something that is only on when the car is on.

I switched it to the ciggerete lighter power and now it turns off with the car.

Basicly the red/accessorry wires is 100% useless... and I cant figure out why!
