Ok so I took all of your advice that said a Kicker 1500.1 amp (2 ohm stable) would handle 1 ohm just fine. Well it does not. Protection kicks on at high levels.

I have 2 Solobaric 4 ohm subs. I was looking at the rockford fosgate wiring diagram and wired them up for a 1 ohm load. Well that didnt work so I am now looking at the diagram for a 4ohm load.

The sub sounded great before protection kicked in. How much of a difference will I notice changing the load to 4 ohm?

hate to say it but they rate it at 2ohms for a reason. if i would handle 1ohm stable why didnt they list it that way then, they would sell more i they did you know!!! srry someone miss lead you tho
