DVC....Amp

no... it shows that the subs can be wired to either 4 ohms... or 1 ohm.... if you get 2 seperate amps... you will have 1200 watts 2 each sub.. OR... you could save money... get a hifonics bx1500d and be done with it.... 1500w x 1 @ 1 ohm... 750 each sub

Nope, not much you can do to get that down to 2ohms. You could either get some new subs that are dual 2ohm voice coils, then do it like in example #1, with the two subs in series (with their voice coils paralleled). Or get a new amp, your choice.

Is it possible to run the amp on 2ohms or do I need to buy two separate 600.1 amp? One for each sub. Or try to get them in 2ohm DVC configuration? I think you can pay extra to get them done. check the pic. below.

you have 2 dual 4ohm subs parallel each sub to 2ohm's then parallel the the 2 subs to the amp for 1ohm,

the jbl1200.1 makes 1200wrms at 1 and 2 ohm's, it's a mono amp it just has 2 inputs for easy wiring,

wire it like this and you'll get 600wrms to each sub, even more that amp put out more then it's rated for.

PowerValve amplifiers are also 2-ohm optimized, and can run a 1-ohm load with ease. http://www.sounddomain.com/sku/JBLBP12001#reviews
