dvc 1 ohm sub

just ordered a RE audio mx. dual 1 ohm voice coil.

anyone know what loads it can do and how to wire?

never done 1 ohm before

It can do 2 and .5 ohm,really should of figured this out before ordering so you would be able to match it well with your amp...unless you haven't ordered your amp yet!

Single DVC sub = either 1/2 or double the ohms of each coil (i.e. for a DVC4 it'd be either 2ohm or 8ohm)

Two DVC subs = either 1/4, exactly, or quadruple the ohms of each coil (i.e. for DVC2's it'd be 0.5, 2, or 8 ohm)
