Duralast Platinum AGM

PN: 34R-AGM

750 cca / 120 rc

Compared to my second choice...

Duralast Gold (conventional wet cell)

PN: 24F-DLG

750 cca / 130 RC

This is for a Prizm (Corolla) with a 500w RMS class d amp and eventually a ~200-300w RMS 4 channel later, 80A alternator, no other electrical add on accessories.

Group 34 is much larger than Group 24. if you have a 24 i doubt you can fit a 34.

This Group 25 may fit

That Duralast Gold looks decent, but i'd like to see how they are measuring those specs.

Keep Hope Alive... Are you sure? According to Interstate's spec sheet... and my own measurements yesterday...

A 24F is 10 x 6-7/8 x 8-3/4

a 34R is 10 x 6-7/8 x 7-3/4 (Shorter)

A 25 won't work the terminals are on the wrong sides. The reason I want a 34R is they don't carry a 24F in the AGM line.

I have decided to go with the Duralast Platinum 34RAGM. I have determined that it is relabeled Deka Intimidator 9A34R and I have not found any really negative reviews of them online.

Unless someone here thinks otherwise?
