id ditch the motor and use the linear actuator. much cleaner than that pic with the chain and all.

the cd-rom mechanism is a great idea; you could even use the rails from the tray - and a cd-rom will only set you back like six bucks. not to mention the mechanism is already there, just press a button. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
