well it wasn't the 350z thing that bailey was talking about...and iirc, marley, you've had multiple stupid drama threads. i'm not hating, i personally don't care. i'm just correcting your statement where you said one in the last six months...

back to the topic: sure there's all sorts of things going on now with parts being imported and assembly lines being established in other countries....but one thing we all cannot deny is the shoddiness of all the VWs manufactured in their mexican and south american factories. i really doubt in my entire lifetime that either toyota, honda, or nissan will ever try to cut costs by manufacturing their cars in mexico....

i ride a moped. its economical and the handling is superb. i have a car, but **** it, whats the point?

Coming from you, I'm not sure if that comment was serious or sarcastic.

But, related to it.....my buddy is pretty good with engines and body work, so when his grandparents bought a non-functioning moped to fix up for their semi-retarded son they had my buddy work on it for them. After he got it running again, he would drive the damned thing everywhere. We live in a small town, so even on the moped you could get anywhere in town in minutes. But, he could drop a few gallons of gas into it and drive on that for weeks without having a refill. And, with the cost of gas, having something like that was just so efficient, economical, and quick and easy that it really saved him quite a bit of $$ gas and time. We would laugh about it...but in reality, it wasn't all that bad. Plus we'd take it out and just have fun with it....popping wheelie's(sp?) and ramping it, etc etc. We used it like a psuedo-ATV....LOL

That was the plan. But IIRC they decided against giving it to him. I dunno....either way it's still sitting in my buddies garage since I blew a tire on it.

I know I had one about me personally. Now, maybe I forgot another one, but theres really only been 1 girl (that I've made a thread about..I think). The other threads could have been girl-related, but not specifically relating to me.

I don't know, I don't remember, but I do know I made a few girl-related threads, and I am almost positive not all of them dealt with me specifically.
