An import is an import in my opinion. Can't stand any of them. Wouldn't own any of them. But if it came down to it I would own a Euro over a rice burner any day.

My friend really likes the 350zs and when he first told me of this car that he thought was sweet he didnt even know the name he was like it starts with a 3 so I was like are you talking about the 350z. All he says is that they are the sweetest cars and since they are a v6 that they're good on gas and that is what he will say when I say that a Z28 or SS Camaro would beat it in a race. It is a nice car but I wouldn't get one.

350z's aren't a big deal....my friend who has the exact same ride as me (only bolt ons but tuned, and automagic) ate up this stock 6spd 350z many a times at the tracks.....and i'm halfway there (i'm talkin high thirteens, 100+ traps, street tires, full interior)

I've never had AC in either of my two cars.

My opinion is you should do whatever you want with your car and forget about everyone else's opinion ...

engine mods are a waste of money either way, unless your modifications help your gas mileage. i can drive all day with a stereo, but there is a speed limit. you dont need a TT daily driver, you just need it to feel like you have big balls, or so it seems.

On this subject, I was reading a Chevy High Performance mag, and they were talking about how people who aren't "hot rodders" don't really understand why we do the things we do.

It's like, you love music, and you do everything music related(I assume) well I love working on my car, and everything car related. I make my car fast because it is fun to do, and I have met so many people in the process. I don't speed around, and in fact I drive rather slow for the power my car has.

I make my car look and sound like it does, because I like to be unique. There are very few GN's around, and I'm one of two in the local towns. I like the looks, but I don't do it for that, and I like the compliments, but I don't do it for that. I do it because I can go outside right now, and say to myself "I built that, that is mine." It is a self-accomplishment thing, and just being proud of yourself really.

Youll never know until you become one, basically. Those who know, can agree.

Im not ignorant to the subject, **** I grew up in kentucky. friends of mine own GN's, Skylarks, Camaros, Chevelles, or what the **** ever, but not one of them drives the car everyday because they are too fast, and lets be honest, dangerous. Then you take into consideration the gas mileage that you get out of these 'hot-rods' along with the emissions and youve got yourself a very uneconomical vehicle. if that is what you want, be my guest, im not talking shit, i am just simply stating that its a waste of money to me.

on the other hand, i cant tell you how many times i pull up to a stoplight and someone is rtying to race me when the light changes. im not pointing at you, but the fact that people act like that disgusts me because they not only endanger themselves, but me and everyone else as well.

Personally, I get around 20mpgish when I take it lightly.

I don't do it for that guy that pulls up and races people. In fact, I don't ever go out and hope to encounter someone (unless its a rich snob in a porcshe).

I really just do it for myself, and my car is still driveable every day.
