why don't you tell us WHAT HU or how many outputs it has(pre and sub), then we can answer intelligently. The more info you give, the better answer you will get.

You can either attach two separate wires to the remote lead on the headunit and run one line to each amp or run the remote lead from the HU to one amp and then jumper from the first amp over to the second amp.

Perhaps because it states very clearly in his posting signature that he runs a Pioneer DEH-P4800MP???

Nope.

For a proper amp install you obviously will need to connect various cables to the amp to make it work properly.

Naturally, they need power and ground to supply energy to the amp.

It also needs RCA cables to carry the source signal from your Pioneer deck to the amp.

It needs speaker wire to route the amplified source signal to the speaker(s) it is powering.

It also needs a remote activation lead connected to the appropriate terminal which will tell it to turn on and off with the headunit.

This last wire is what I was referring to. You can have a single lead coming from the headunit to the first amp. The wire coming from the HU will attach to your amp's remote turn-on input terminal. It is acceptable to have a second lead attached to this terminal on the first amp jumping over to the same terminal (in regards to function) for the second amp so that it might know when to turn on and off as well. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
