Dual alt guys?

I want to try running 2 alts in my blazer. When I was talking with Iraggi he recommends wiring them in parallel, which is what I planned on doing. Just wanna check to see how many people have done it that way, instead of having the second alt on the audio specific batteries.

Err, the battery is back there, so how does it work with a charge coming in? The charging charge has to complete a circuit.

I'm just wondering. If I am completely wrong go ahead and correct. I never understood multiple alts.

I'd just run them in parallel.

We did separate charging systems for the vehicle, and for the audio system in Jason's... and it was just never... right.

Ran them in parallel, wonderful.

Also, trust Iraggi... especially on alternator information.

Jumping the positive output lead of one alternator, to the positive output lead of the 2nd alternator, then connecting it to the positive lead on the battery.

Had to do a little grinding on the brackets to clear the alts. Still test fitting it all before I powder coat it.

Almost but without the frame off part. I probably should have just gone the extra step and pulled the frame out and done that too.
