so if you have 2 dvc4ohm subs you can wire it to 1ohm...SWEET. I learned something today..lol

how much power would you be getting per sub with a 1000w AMP? because i have two 12" ground pounders that are dvc 4ohm and i wired it at 4ohms to the AMP. but then again my amp only pushes out its max (1000w) at 4ohms. The lower the ohm the lower that watts for my AMP. i have a powerzone crunch amp

i thought that if you have 2 dvc 4ohm subs that it would eqaul 8ohms then i thought the lowest you could wire it would be 4ohms.

the lower the ohm the more power you make...

that crunch amp would make massive ammounts of power at 1 ohm...try it.

You can't wire that amp any lower than 4 ohms bridged, or you'll risk damage to your equipment.

2ch amps are very different than Monoblock sub amps. Generally sub amps are stable down to 2 ohms, a lot down to 1 ohm, and some are stable even further to 0.5ohm.
