Dual-2Ohm SX + Dual-4Ohm SX = Trouble?

Yes, that is exactly what will happen ~ the subs will see inequal power.

Your Dual 2 Ohm sub can be wired to 1 Ohm or 4 Ohms. Your Dual 4 Ohm sub can be wired to 2 Ohms or 8 Ohms.

Since one sub will always wired to a higher resistance than the other it will always get less power //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

So, even if I took the wires coming from each individual terminal cup, spliced them together, and then put the resulting +/- wires into the amp, the power would still be distributed unevenly?

Is this akin to energy flowing between two points of uneven potential, just with a few more elements to the equation?
