Here's the deal... i have a soundstream van gogh vga800.2 2-ch amp. for those of you who aren't familiar with it, here are the specs:
OUTPUT (watts):
200 x 2 = RMS @ 4 Ohms
400 x 2 = RMS @ 2 Ohms
800 x1 = RMS Bridged @ 4 Ohm
i would like to use this amp to power a single 12" image dynamics idmax sub. in order to maximize the amp's full potential and squeeze out the entire 800 watts, would i need the dual 2 ohm model? or the dual 4 ohm?
and how exactly would it be wired (ie. series, parallell)?
