Thank you for making the vid ! I got one a few months back and figured it out by messing with it for about an hour lol but went to use it the other day to set gains on new amp and couldnt get it to work again your vid is a big help

That's exactly what I had to do,... Even when making the video lol.. Now I also will have something to look at when setting my new Amps.

So I got my amp back and everything. But when I play the test tone, I just get a really crazy looking wave, with spikes, its not nice and curvy like yours comes out. Anyone one what this might be? Im using a 50hz test tone at 0db, playing of my phone via aux cable.

Its called noise and you have to make sure your getting a clean signal.. Either your disk is not a good copy or your amp channel is no good.. Could be a lot of things actually, but what it IS for sure... Is NOT GOOD. LOL

Could the noise be due to grounding/power, or is it just from equipment?

Possible,

RCA's, bad ground/power, cheap equipment, broken equipment.. Ever a poor recorded tone that you are using.. SO MANY Variables

I have the same o scope for a long time and it has a while giving me problems with the display, I can't get it to display the wave to fit the screen properly and also I can't erase a wave that's stuck in the background. I've hit reset and everything I could find, and nothing. What can I do to fix this?

this is setting my subs if u are setting ur highs, u will just have to play with just those two, increase the ms and volts until u can see it, then raise ur gain until u see clipping then back off until u don't see clipping anymore.

I can't find the way to reset it and when I connect the o scope the pc it doesn't recognize it.

I just ignored the background sine wave. I dont know what it is or how to get rid of it.

As for not getting the whole wave to fit on screen, try changing the setting on the probe. Mine has a switch for 1x and 10x. The 1x is too sensitive to display the crests of the waves.

Ive had one for a few months and now it will only power on when connected via usb...another thing is if you want to upgrade the firmware to benq, you have to have a fw version before 3.26d. To turn off the sine wave go down to the pink ex option, then go to the right until it disappears.

Its the best value for sure, but dont expect it to last.

I still couldn't figure out how to use it lol. I will try it on my friends system sometime and see if i can get it to work on theirs, maybe I have a bad amp idk. But ive been too busy lately to have time to mess with it.
