My girlfriend was with some friends from work, coming back from a night of bowling. They were headed back to the girl's house who drove so they could get their cars and go home. Anyhow, they came to an intersection and their light was green, and a drunk driver turned in front of them and hit them head-on.

Luckily, it looks like all my girlfriend has is bruising from the seatbelts, whiplash in her neck and lower back, and a small burn on her chin from the airbag. The girl that was driving may have broken one of her legs, and is also bruised. The drunk bitch who hit them only got a cut on her head, so the paramedics threw some neosporin on it, and a cop took her to jail.

I hope she gets a corncob shoved up her ***, and I hope my gf and her friend sue her for all she's worth.

Agreed.

Drunk driving in this country needs stricter penalties. I say first offense = ~5 years in jail. Second offense = 25 to life.

Ya man my Ex GF has this new boyfriend. Every other night she calls me telling me how she almost dies getting a ride home from him cause hes always drunk going like 70 on back roads.

That's f*cked up, I'm sorry to hear that man.

I completely agree that drunk drivers should have some harsh punishments passed down on them.

I've been drunk off my *** more times than I can count (hell I'm pretty tipsy right now), but I would never consider hopping into my car and putting not only myself but other innocent people in danger.

I hope your girlfriend recovers quickly.

i used to..i wont lie. about 8 months ago 4 of my friends hit a pole doin 55. lemme tell ya that will definitly shake you. ive never seen that kind of destruction. enough to make me stop drinking. I haven't touched alchohol since that night, let alone drunk driving.

I'm usually cool and relaxed when accidents occur, like a couple of weeks ago when I got rear ended, I was very pleasant to the lady and didn't want to make shit up so I could get cash... but since the lady was drunk, I want my g/f to hold her back and ache and piss and moan in order to milk that bitch for every cent she's worth.

Ouch, sorry to hear bro. Hope all goes well with your gf and her friends. Have them go to physical therapy whether or not they feel pain. I was rear ended on the freeway while I was at a complete stop and I got hit at about 65 mph. I didn't feel any pain but went to massage therapy and I can say I'm glad I went for those 3 months. I was a little tense but all that therapy did help and you never know when the pain may kick in. Luckily it never did for me.

actually i gotta take back one part of it. last night i did go to a party, and i did drink. but i didnt touch the car. Being in a part of the country and part of a generation where drinking and driving is pretty common (I can list 40+ people in my graduating class w/ DUI's) it does take a lot to make you change your mind about it. sucks that it has to be drastic tho.

Although unfortunate and I don't agree with drunk drivers. Typically with most head on situation it can be avoided. I doubt the the driver of the car with your girl in it was paying that great of attention either. A bunch of chicks together typically equals absent minded driving. Now by all means the drunk chick DOES NOT need to be on the road. But i am sure it is something that could have been avoided

I really don't care if my gf doesn't get a ton of cash out of this... i'd be completely fine if the driver gets a majority of the settlement. i just want to see the drunk driver suffer.
