Drove stick for the first time today...

I learned how to drive stick back when Nissan was Datsun.... (can't even remember WTF model).

I got sick of buying a clutch every 100K miles though. Unles you're racing, plowing, or hauling, IMO manual is pretty pointless.

I learned on an 88 MR2 and 98 F150 the Mr2 was the ****!!! saving money up for a mini 6spd i love it when i get to drive those cars at my job i drive the hell out of them in our lot!

I learned when I was little driving the old 79 F 250 farm truck up and down the field loading hey... Now all of my vehicles are manuals... Autos actually irritate me with how often they are always changing and what not when I drive them now... Trucks are easy to learn in and easy to drive around but aren't a ton of fun when compared to driving a sporty car however those can be picky and a pain to drive daily... I prefer to drive my truck a lot of the time compaired to my car just cuz it's so much more forgiving and easier...

2000 celica. Clutch is so touchy in first. Took me A week to get used to the stop - go. Everything else was easy. Now I drive like I stole it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/sneaky.gif.7189749b3a3f769e8815b47e8ae87f88.gif

My dad had a 2005 911 and it was the first manual car I ever drove. Then a girl I knew had a Celica GTS, which I drove a good bit around the neighborhood. Then ended up with a Mustang that was manual and it was much, much easier to drive.
