Drilling through the firewall...problem plz help

my dad and I are installing an amp and are having difficulties drilling through the firewall, do I need a special drill or am I drilling in the wrong place?

What does "having difficulties" mean? And what kind of vehicle is it, and where are you trying to drill?

You should not need a special bit, be carefull where you drill though, dont hit anything on the other side. What kind of car?

Can't find a spot? Hit something? "difficulties" ? All you need is a sharp bit.

I got a sharp bit and was able to install the wire sucessfully...thanks guys!!
