drilling holes in trunk (amplifier install)

DONT SCREW INTO THAT!!!!!!!

I did on my 1988 crown vic and the screw went right into the gas tank....

- I couldnt repair the tank so I had to install a new one. on top of that It leaked $3.25 gas all over the ground.

I typically mount the amps to the wall behind the back seat. Pull the tire out, mount the amp and everything to the bracing behind the seat, and then put everything back together.

take a piece a mdf and cut it to the size of the shelf and then get some thin aluminum and make straps and screw to that and then bolt the other end to a spot in the car. it is what i do for my stuff and it works.
