hey i have a double din DPvideo headunit

but i do have a problem the guy who installed it said that there was a little bit of static coming from the radio that was caused by the radio its self not anything else it being a sub par unit just wondering what i would have to do to cut that static out i was told by a friend if i put a 4 channel amp and a equalizer in it may take care of it but I'm not sure what do you think

i was just out driving and i realised at volume 9 or above you cannot hear ANY static just crisp clear sound now im totally confused
