downward firing subs

does firing the subs down give u more dB's??

because i have a sealed box for my 3 JL audio 10w6 v2

and they are going to be facing down

i will be running them off my MTX 81000D (1500 watts)

so approx 500 per sub

what do u think my dB reading will be around?

I'd go larg ported if ya want SPL. a downfiring box does do real good SQ with JL speakers
