Quotas for scholarships based on race...

As I posted before, different schools in TN grant full scholarships based on a different criteria. At some schools, there is a white advantage, others a black advantage.

Affirmative action is just a way for white people who are financially unsuccessful to make an excuse for why they didn't make it. Oh, I'd be a billionaire if they didn't give my job to a black guy. Really funny, as if you didn't get into a school or get that CEO position because they are filled with blacks. This is a rich mans world.
Try learning something in school instead of smoking weed and getting a C- in all of your courses and maybe you wont have to make excuses for your failures as you drink beer in the local pub every night complaining about what is wrong with "our" country.

I would bet 500 bucks that 95% of the people complaining about affirmative action:

A. Don't have a college degree

B. Don't have any real skills or ambition

C. Never take pride or work hard at anything they do

Again, this has nothing to do with race, it has to do with low class ruthless rapists & killers who happen to be black. When that guy light up Virginia Tech a couple of days ago, none of this kind of stuff was said against his race.

I just hate how every time a black guy does something in this country, there is a thread on this forum about black people like "blacks are like this", "blacks are like that", "affirmative action", "good old slavery days", "taking all the good jobs". Its a joke how stupid some of you really are and how eager you are to get your racist comments out there. Its strange but its kind of amusing to me actually.

Lastly, white people treated blacks like animals for hundreds of years. Lower than animals even. Now after 30 - 40 years you expect every black person to forgive and forget and act like white America overnight practically? As if in the 1970's white America embraced black people the same as whites. Even today, there is a white part of town and a black part of town in most cities. Whites want to stay as far away as they can from the black part of town. You think blacks aren't aware of this way of thinking? And they should embrace and trust and forget everything while still being treated as a second class citizen in many ways?

Its ok for whites to pretend to be gangsters with your baggy jeans, 24 inch chrome wheels and your systems while listening to gangster rap, and still not want a black person living across the street from you. While most of you guys probably break more laws than the black person across the street from you.

This is going to be flammed for sure. But in some ways, with Africa in such a bad situation, wouldn't starting slavery again to work crops, farmlands etc not be such a bad idea as it could help save SO many lives?

I'm not a racist, I'm really trying to think of a way to save lives in africa while supporting the workloads needed here in America for jobs that no one wants.

You want to help the people in Africa? Cut off all "good will" supplies from around the world and let them die out. They may lose 2/3 of their population, but when it's all over they will be able to support themselves far more comfortably than they are now.

I have nothing to say on the matter of racism. I'm misanthropic - I hate indiscriminately.

Honestly, its statements like this that keeps racism alive and well. Congrats. I have spent my entire adult life in the struggle against racism and now I feel like you have just reversed all of the results I have achieved.

Chris Rock is still working because he's a #2 He's a comedian and #1 of all people pay to see him. Its about money. Once the money stops, Chris Rock stops. Once the sponsors pulled Imus was stopped. No money=no show

^^imus getting fired was simply an employer firing an employee. we'd all get fired if we caused this much crap, no matter how "wrong" it may seem. this is a capitalist society, and decisions are made because of such. if you caused me to lose millions i'd fire your as$ in a minute. no doubt.

Money makes the world go round and media surely isnt different. He got fired because four NATIONAL(lots of money, I dont get those accounts) advertisers. Not mom and pop shops. But people who spend probably a couple hundred grand to a million to be tied to his show and reach out to his audience. Without them no one is paying his salary. No sponsors=no money=no show.

Yea I guess I was still a little pissed about the thread and didnt read your response right. But I would consider radio and msnbc a form of media and thats where his programs were broadcast on, thats make him a part of the media. But seriously you cant just piss off the nation. You can piss off a few people or maybe a few groups and get away with it but not the whole nation.

maybe the people who started this thread are looking at it the wrong way...

Imus says a racist comment, which is out of the norm for a white person to do in a public media like TV, Radio, etc.... Thus all of the Sharptons, Oprahs, and Jacksons of the world focus their attention on this matter because it's out of the norm.

When 5 black people rob a white couple, cut off the dude's wang then proceed to burn his body and hide it near the railroad tracks. Later they **** the wife for 3 days and kill her. This is all normal for the media so there really is no headline.

It's not the media biased against white people it's just that they have such low standards for black folks. It takes something like a 32 person shooting to get their attention.

The Carthaginians, Egyptians, Romans, Persians, Spanish, and Moors all went to Central and South Africa to gather slaves. Most of the second half of the Egyptian empire was built by Nubian slaves after the hebrews fled. You can even notice this due to the change in features of the pharaohs over time as they developed more African like features.

The Persians and Arabs built almost their entire empires on the back of black slaves. The Carthaginians utilized slaves from the West Coast for salt mining, timber, and rock mines.

All this happend over 1000's of years and I would bet my money that they were treated much worse than by any white sharecropper from Georgia would have done.

The only reason why America is still blamed for all of this is because of the wealth we possess. If Egypt or Carthage were still around or possessed great wealth you may see a different story.
