Double murder and **** of white couple by 5 black men: Where's the outrage?

how is that not race related??? you think if it had been a black couple they wouldve cut the guys dick off infront of his woman , burn the body, **** the woman, and dump her body by some train tracks???

A White man calls a team a racial slur (even though the team has members of several different ethnicities) and he is on the front page of news and all over TV.

Race has everything to do with it. And it shouldn't have anything to do with it.

thats the medias fault though... If you had your own news station which would you publicize more? The one that will get the most viewers/ratings for the longest period of time.

if 5 gangsters try and car jack me and i shoot and kill all 5 of thier ***** where they stood, i wont be going to jail as long as i have a halfway decent laywer. especially if the ****ers had prior criminal records and/or drug offenses. Florida court systems would recognize these ****ers as trash and i'd get off on self defense.....i'd kill the ****ers in cold blood and get away with it if they tried that shit with me....assuming they didnt kill me first.....

the whole agrument against racism isnt helped when 5 nigs go and pull that shit on a white couple. it'd be vice versa if 5 white gangbangers did the same crime to ANY ethnicity other than white. in most cases of violence/harassment if there's any color differances one side can scream hate crime and sometimes get away with it even if it being a hate crime is questionable

This is going to be flammed for sure. But in some ways, with Africa in such a bad situation, wouldn't starting slavery again to work crops, farmlands etc not be such a bad idea as it could help save SO many lives?

Thoughts?

I'm not a racist, I'm really trying to think of a way to save lives in africa while supporting the workloads needed here in America for jobs that no one wants.

I agree there are many inequalities today. But this situation is not one of them.

The reason the Imus thing go so much press wasn't because of what he said, but because of who he is. When someone famous does something like that, it gets press. Just ask Kramer haha.

I am sure there were MANY much worse crimes committed by other caucasions that didn't get any press at all compared to the Imus thing. But they weren't in the news either.

I can understand why you think it is wrong people get all worked up over a statement compared to a double murder, but you need to realize the amount of press one gets compared to the other is completely due to the individuals involved in the act and not the crime or hate crime itself.

100% agree... it's basically whats gonna catch and keep the eye of the public. Also the media can fuel and defuel the Imus situation for alot longer than the murder.

why would it have to be slavery? why not just make it an option to come to the states and get PAID for their work. but as i see it there are already plenty of people trying their ****edest to keep people out. i don't think we have a shortage of people coming over right now. if you propose that people from africa have a leg-up in the application process then you might be on to a solution, but there are problems in a whole slew of places honestly.

I agree with the idea but not the overall concept. Shouldn't be slavery they should be taught to do these things, and should also be taught to use the crops and things to build up there economy by more trade with other countries. which can lead to devolping a more industrialized econmoy, but i dont see that happining anytime soon.

that's true in that case, but what about the girl that cried ****? i'm not even white, but i can see that black people are far more sensitive than any other race.

to their defense i'm sure many of them grew up learning to be wary of white culture simply because of what happened in the past. the 60's weren't THAT long ago and people who faced those tough times were the parents/grandparents for today's generation. i'm sure they said a thing or two about white people to their kids and although a lot of those warnings were probably gross generalizations the same can be said of what white people think about modern day black culture. consider that whole rap/sq thread. =P

yes a lot of rap lyrics are ridiculous, but people still like the beat and listen to it so stop criticizing. it's the constant back and forth criticism that breeds animosity and creates this racial tension we see today. if people just learned to relax and let people live their own lives [as long as they don't mess with yours] then we'd be better off. just like the whole gay marriage garbage. who gives a shit what they do?

Imus calls some black women "Nappy headed hos." A black woman accuses college Lacrosse players "rapists." Just words but with huge media coverage. A white couple is carjacked. The girlfriend is forced to watch as the man's penis is cut off and he is shot 3 times. The girlfriend was kept in the house, ***** for 3 days then murdered. No coverage.

the news simply cannot cover every single ****/murder that goes on in America. there are plenty of babies being killed that are not covered by national news so stop making this a black and white thing. Duke is a high profile college thats why they got the press and Imus is a celebrity. Everything ain't black and white. You make it seem like something like that never happened to other races.

African farmers are well aware of farming techniques to increase their yield. It does no good if they are unable to transport and sell the products. The lack of enforced legal system doesn't allow investment in the infratsructure required.

They are not ignorant of these issues, but their government keeps them from participating. If we assist in revolutions, we are accused of nation-building.
