Double din with processing

Does anyone have any idea why no one makes a double din with built in processing, like time alignment, 4-way, individual phasing, etc.?

Companies such as Pioneer could make a killing off creating a double din with these features. It would be much easier to navigate through all your settings vs. a single din with a tiny screen.

IIRC, I found one, thats discontinued. One of kenwoods higher end models. Wasnt able to find one for a long time.

I agree. I'm gonna hold out and keep my 880 until they drop one. I just have a feeling its coming. Even if it only has the processing of the 80PRS as opposed to the 99RS, I'll be happy.
Absolutely. Still would love an affordable 4-way deck.

There's always the older Clarion DRZ9255.

I definitely agree. I'd love to be able to run fully active 3 way front with subs so I can have that dedicated midrange with full control over everything from T/A to slopes right from the deck as opposed to using external processors mounted in the rear. Some people do it, but I still say the best results come from being able to do it all from the deck.

I'm looking to maybe do a midbass + full range front stage to still get that dedicated midrange performance and even let the highs come from it too. I think I can pull it off. But, I think running 3 way active would be slightly easier to dial in correctly.
