Double Din in 03 Durango

I'm looking at upgrading to a new head unit. I was thinking about the Pioneer AVH-P3100DVD. I was wondering if anybody had experience with making a double din head unit fit into a 1.5 din opening. I know that I would have to cut the dash bezel to make room, but what about everything behind the dash. Once again, this is in a 2003 Dodge Durango. Just looking for some input from those who may have experience.

ive done it on a ram, same dash bezel however

Its a similar bezel, but mine is the entire front panel like the pic below. I would just have to enlarge the size of the upper opening, but I dont know how I would deal with removing mounting brackets and adding custom ones for support.

This one was attached to a larger piece like yours as well i just removed it.

As far as the brackets the way i did it had iso mount brackets built onto the new dash piece.
