Double DIN DVD/Video/Nav units...

Whats the best, or in opinion, whats the best DD video unit? I hear nothing but good about everything from Clarion, Eclipse, Jensen, JVC, Kenwood, Panasonic, and Pioneer.

Whats the best bang for the buck? I'm looking to pull out my screen and radio and replace with 1 unit. I know the DDs arent 7", but most are 6.5, and 1 or 2 are 6.95. So, which you guys think is the best for the money?

You definitely want Navi?

If not, look at the Pioneer AVH-P6800DVD, double din 7" screen, 6-disc DVD changer built in. Just put one on display and it is pimperish. And retail is $1400, which isn't bad at all compared to other DD units.

the jensen 9021ts isnt a bad deal if u got the hook up on it... i picked the one up for my g/f for under 700.... its made by audiovox so it isnt that bad..... u can add anything u want to it

and another, all use the same unit....and I hear they are pretty good, I read up on em too.

And no, I dont need Nav. I got a PC in my truck, so I just want the DD screen to clean things up. I will do nav with a laptop nav system. But thats not a real big concern right now.

I really like the JVC because its got nice SQ and its one of the VERY few with Giga MP3 technology. With 3000+ mp3s, you'd want this. LOL.

I like my AVN6600, but you might want to look into the Kenwood 6019 for one without Nav, double din, 7 in screen, dual zone control, and it will play MP2 video files. Nice unit and can be picked up for a decent price.

I checked into the 6800, so far, its the highest pre-amp voltage I've seen @ 4v.
