double din boot up time

I am looking at getting a double din DVD player without navigation and wondering how long it takes before music plays? I am specifically looking at the clarion max685bt and the kenwood ddx812.

It takes about 30 seconds to a minute to load on my Kenwood 812. I am guessing right now but it doesn't take over a minute. i will go outside and give it a test for you.

If the 812 is taking that long, you need to update it. Most of them will start playing music before they boot up, if that's what you were listening too when you shut it down. iPod for example, usually won't work until it's booted, but radio should fire right up.

You are correct. It took less than 30 seconds to load. I was just guessing at first but I just when an tested it and it was less than 30 seconds on my watch. See I normally have it on the USB and it takes like 30 seconds to a minute to load my usb.
