double check my wiring

k i think this is right but i wanna be sure before i blow somthing up cus this is still my first install... i have a directed audio 1500d mono 1 chan amp, and if i use both negs and pos does it still come out to 1 ohm? my subs are 4 ohms, i drew a picture to try to show what i mean.

yes, because the amp will internally bridge itself. it makes it easier for people to wire their subs by making 2 'channels' that bridge themselfs inside the amp. thats why its a monoblock.

each side = 2ohm, and the amp will bridge itself down to 1.
