Hello, I drive a 07 Corolla S it is a daily driver
I am going to be driving 2 Kicker 12" CVX 4 OhmDvc
powered by a MTX TA810001r 1500 @ 1Ohm.
My mids/highs are
Kappa 693.7i 6x9" in the rear
and Kappa 60.7CS 6.5" components up front
powered by a Infinity Reference 7541A
and Kicker 0ga power
I am about to start building the box.
It will be 39" X 16" X 17" Tuned to 31.2
It is pretty much as big as it can get while allowing me a little storage space
I used the RE box Calculator and came up with this:
I have read that the calculator is not all that accurate, How close it this box?
Also so i get it right, I am looking for more shaking low bass as opposed to
the loud bass. Is 31hz a good number for this set up? lower he number the
more you can feel vs hear correct?
I have to bought the subs yet, are there better subs out there for this set
up for around $325.00 that will produce better low end that I am looking
for?
I have built a few boxes before but I am pretty new to this. I think I know
what I am doing but I could be totally wrong.
