is there such thing as a double bridged amp, how much more power will it give with a 1000-1 amp with 2 12" type R's

not really. to do such is possbile, but requires isolation of the amps involved.

as with bridging, it would (in theory) give 2x power and requires the load impedance be 2x as well.

so no clue with the type Rs.
