double baffles...?

Double baffle will do alwmost nothing for you

Bracing it was keep that box stiff if you ask me ( and Ive only ever used big boxes )

A 2X2 8' can be bought for 2 freakin bucks, and just make a brace up and down on your sub baffle, and left and right to the sides, BUT connect the 2 braces with a few screws for even more strength

Ive built 15+ cube boxes out of 1/2" MDF single baffle with just some 2X4 braces and on 3000+ rms and 4 15's, held just fine with NO flex

Forgot, if you can afford it, threaded rod is best, but it aint cheap. The wood braces work very well, but they arent "solid"

Ive only used rod once, but I didnt notice any difference, car owner was happy is all that matters

a brace like this is what i used on my last box:

i would had gone double baffle but i didnt have the wood. as for the subs ripping out of a single baffle. when i am careful its fine, otherwise just use t-nuts. threaded rod is also an option.

Is is that a Maxximus powering those AQs? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif
