Door Wiring in BMW

I'm willing to run pair of 16AWG speakers wire in front door of my BMW G30, has anyone done this before? Looking for tips.

Why? The speaker wire for a BMW should be of high enough quality to run most door speakers. You are looking at running the wire from the stereo, through the door Molex, to your speakers? Just curious??
