Hey im trying to upgrade my door sPeakers. My friend has some boston acoustic s60 that he bought for $85. They sound pretty decent for one pair. Any suggestions? Im trying to boost my voice for better sound quality. Somebody said infinitys are good but im not familiar. What are some things i should be looking for when i buy? Thanks

Infinity tweets make my ears bleed. If you've never listened to them in person don't buy them blind, their tweets aren't smooth at all, they're very harsh on my ears and many others on this board. Listen before you buy if you can.

I like the sound of Boston speakers. I have some cheap S series Bostons in my car and off of HU power they sound decent. They keep up with my substage, 350W on a 12" Type R in a sealed box. So it's not a huge substage but the Bostons are able to keep up with that on HU power, so if you amplify them they should have no problem keeping up with a moderate substage.

They won't blow you away with amazing SQ but they're relatively inexpensive and do well on low power.
