Door Panel Removal

Very carefully! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

I know that Crutchfield typically has such instructions although I'm not sure for a car that old. They had step by step instructions for my '08 Silverado.

Maybe try a car maintenance manual like Chiltons?

use a crow bar or a door panel remover tool to pry the clips off. there will be one in each corner and then a few in between the corners. just start at the corners and take your time.

and ignore any liklihood that there might be something else holding it on other then plastic clips:cool:

Mine just has the clips. but, if you start from the corner, you will see if there are screws on the inside of the door. most cars arent going to have screws on the edges

ya tha's the same as my lesabre you have a scrwe by the handle, that's obvious, then you have to get the window/seat controls up it's held in by a pressure tab, pry gently on it by the mirror controls under that is another screw. the back where the red reflector is i think there's a screw there too. now since you have the "premium" system you have a 5.25" in the doors mounted to a plastic panel and your innerds will be completely open. if you want pics send me an im and i'll link u to mine.

I dont know if this will be the exact same for you but this is what I found

1. Remove the door handle trim plate.

2. Carefully remove the armrest cover plate by prying upward from the access hole using a thin-bladed tool.

3. Remove the 2 fasteners from the armrest.

4. Remove the courtesy lamp assembly.

5. Remove the fastener from behind the lamp assembly.

6. Remove the push in retainer from the defroster duct.

7. Lift straight up on the trim panel in order to disengage the hooks on the backside of the panel.
