door panel question

I want to sound deaden my doors (08 Accord) myself as opposed to paying a dealer. Looks to me like they're just held on with clips. What do i need to know about door latches and such. It 'looks' like the latch in my car is may be in a seperate panel from the one i would have to remove. My doors are two tone and appear to be two different panels.

Anything special i need to know to avoid a trip to the repair shop?

Thanks in advance for any/all assistance.

as a suggestion you should go to crutchfield and purchase a copy of the master sheets for head unit removal, front door speaker removal and rear speaker remove. it will pretty much guide you with removing the door panel and what you should watch out for. i buy master sheets for all the cars i work on just to be on the safe side.

they cost liek 5 bucks. they will ship you a copy but you can just download it in PDF form as soon as you pay for it so you don't have to wait 3 days.

try searching on a honda forum...thats how i figured out the door panel removal for my truck. I bet its a combo of clips and screw and be careful not to yank the panel once the clips are off cuz theres wires and such still attached to the panel

I was wondering this about my car (an altima), and

I found a full walkthrough on youtube.

No go on the tube.

Not much activity taking place on two different Honda forums. But i'm married with children so that makes me a very patient man.
