door locking stop working? 5900sst

I have the 5900sst and i installed it close to a year ago and for some reason when the alarm arms it doesnt lock the doors anymore..I went back and looked atteh wiring and everything is intact. Also my doors will lock with the lock switch on the door..so i know its something to do with the alarm itself..i read that some people set there's to valet mode..but i dont see anything about this in the manaul..

Even if it is in valet mode...it will still lock/unlock the doors. Take a DMM and test the wires coming off your alarm's door lock/unlock wires to see if they are putting out a trigger. Since you say your locks work w/ the factory switch, that eliminates the actuators being bad. More than likely it is a bad output on the alarm (doesn't happen often, but does happen from time to time).

yes do that. and if you had a probe that will shoot power you could trigger the wires like that to see if the connections are good. even tho metering the output works just fine. i like to do both.
