Door deadening attept #1, let me know how it looks..

Well, this is my first attept, as you can see the top part of the door body panel is a tough one to get to, so i just did half that, and fully deaden the bottom..

Let me know what else i can do to make it better and if i need some more or not, thanks..

(i threw a pic of my tc 5200 15" in there too..have fun with it..)

looks great! very good cutting and measuring on the size of the pieces! How many layers did you do, and did you do the backside of the metal where the speaker screws into?

thats the first layer, and the second layer half done.. and no, i just did the front side

yeah picked 60sq ft ip for like 40 bucks.. is it any good? i prob shoulda asked that before i stuk it to my doors.. lol

I did a thing where I did only the front side of the metal, and the inside wall on my left door, then I did all around including the backside on my right door, and theres a big difference in general road noise.

If you have enough, go buy some more and do 2-3 layers and the backside, and you will be pleased.

looks good but i would have covered up those big holes to seal up the door as much as possible. what i did with my explorer (similar holes) was buy some lexan from home depot, cut it to fit over the holes, duct taped the shit out of it all the way around, then deadened over it front and back. you'll lose a good deal of midbass from big holes like that.
