I can belive what hapned as much is i can't. I had my car in the shop for body work and the ****ers were messing around with my system. I made sure that i turned my amp down and the bass on my HU down, but still i get my car back to find the bass all the got dammm wayyy up. What bastards.... To top it off i am hearing a weird noise from one of my subs.. It sounds as if you would put a piece of paper up to a normal ssub while it was playing.... Its not a very loud or distinct noise, but its noticable. Im gettin a new box tomorrow, so when i take the subs out i guess ill check it out.....what are some things i should look for to see if its blown or what not? If anything is wrong how should i test it to see whats wrong...... the subs are pretty darn new with mayb 5 hours time on them max so thats y im worried....

definitely agree there, that's what I do anytime I have work done on my car, and if your HU has a non detachable faceplate just take out your subs and amp to be sure nothing gets f

I think he meant ... make the shop buy you new subs... dude the only way to get anything done is to throw a fit. flip out and at least act like its a big deal. my buddy took his car to a shop just for a oil change and they blew his stock speaker I would have been pissed nevertheless if they messed with my amp and sub.

I talked to my parents about it (haha laugh all u want) and they said that talking/ranting/raving will get me nowhere, because all they have to do is deny it. And u guys know that screaming at the manager, or even tlkin to him will do jack shiat. What im more worried about i guess is to check how my d6's are doing.....are there any tests, methods to see if they are ok?

thats nothing. last week my friend had his truck at a shop getting his clutch replaced. and while it was on a 6 foot lift, the truck "fell off the lift" face first. now its totalled. i think they were out raggin on it and crashed it, but anyways, don't trust those mother ****ers.

I always take the faceplate and pull the fuses at the battery.
