Doesn't anyone use just a single 10" sub?

I don't have a lot of money, space in my trunk, or want to have to buy a 1000w amp. I just want a 10" sub (probably in a sealed box) running 150wrms. some people wont like this but i liked my punchz with my rockford 301m, u can get both of them for well under $200 on ebay. give u a decent amount of bass.

My dad has a single 10" Memphis PR in his reg. cab sierra. Its ported, it sounds very good. Look into the PR's, or maybe a 10" R.E. RE.

How much money do you have? You can get kicker and infinity subs for cheap. Check Ikesound.com or cbrstereo.com Profile Amps are really inexpensive too.

My mom is running an Infinity Kappa Perfect in her Jeep, does the job fine for her..

I ran a single 10 in a bug. It sounded good. I added another one and it was a really loud system, but the cabin is quite small in those.

I've got an amp so I'm good there. I'm looking to spend around $150 for sub and box. Thanks for the suggestions guys. I'll check them out. It just seems like everybody wants like 4 15's.
