My girl hates car audio and thinks it's a waste of time and money. I told her I was going to get some 15s and she asked what was wrong with my 10. I said I just wanted something new, like how she is with clothes. She wasn't too happy about that.

But she does have a stock RF 8 in her Nissan Sentra.

She likes it but everytime I talk about my system shes alawys has to ***** about how much it cost me. Then in the next breath she asks when shes gonna get a system, so this weekend im gonna drop her off at work and take her car install a 13W7 and a jl 1000/1. Then when she talks about her system I'll bring up how it costs more than mine.

Mine does... I have set up a decent system in her car. She likes *way* too much treble though... her highs literally make my head hurt and she wants a more powerful tweeter. Right now I've got the following in there:

Kenwood Excelon HU

Peerless 5.25" Midrange

Dayton 3/4" Silk Tweeters

Custom build passive crossover designed and built by me

Tang-Band 2" in the back (1khz 6dB high pass)

Sundown SAX-100.2 powering the above

SI BM 10" Woofer in 6th order bandpass

Sundown SAE-1000D powering the sub

see heres how this is,

the average woman loves to have car audio .... but they usually HATE when you spend your hard earned money on it and hate when you talk about it. they hate when all you want to do is work on it and spend time with other guys working on it. they hate you meeting random people because of it and they hate when you want to go on road trips to "play with car audio."

My girl just gets pissed cause I spend so much money on my cars lol. She also doesn't like too loud "boom boom" as she calls it.

It's funny to play a loud test tone on trips when she's half asleep though and I'm driving bored. Wakes her up nice =D

My girl has a system... An old Pioneer h/u, some CDT coaxes and a pair of Pioneer tweets, and a 10" kenwood sub, all powered by a PA 100x4 amp. It cost me a total of $75. She's thrilled with it, though.
