I am going to go with a ma audio hk802sx on 4 premier 3004spl 12's. With a optima 16v battery and alt. Do I need a cap, if so what do I need? I dont understand the farad thing.

you don't need a cap... get the big 3 done with 0 gauge.

Your cars electrical system wont like you very much. They are not made to take 16v. You would need to add an additional alt and battery and keep it seperate from all other electronics in the car.
