Does this look good for my Big 3? *pics*

Hey,

I was justpoking around my engine bay trying to figure out the cleanest, easiest way to do my big 3 and this is what I've decided. The stock bat to negative is under my air filter and it looks like a ***** to remove so I decided I'll just make a new one on the right side.

Let me know what you think:

I'll drill a hole in the left and in the right, I'll sand it down to the bare metal and I'll bolt it on there, should that be fine?

Thanks

I'm not attaching it to the radiator, I'm gonna tie wrap it to the plastic of the casing of the fans for the radiator, its a good safe spot.

I was more concerned about the 2 ground spots?

As far as the whole project, seems to be ok. But ya might wanna clean your engine a little bit. Probably get better gas mileage.
Like that makes any sense...

Running in around the top comes out to about the same thing, I'm trying to avoid the hot parts.
your manifold and radiator are the hot parts. The rear of the engine compartment will be much cooler.

Yeah I wanted to run it straight across but the manifold would be way too hot, the plastic covers on the fans wont be that hot even if the radiator might be. I'll check around the top but this way is the easiest.

ultimate157 why would you run the ground off the block and not the alt casing?

If you are adding wire, then run it off the alt case.

Was thinking you were replacing the stock wiring.

There is already a tiny one running from the hook on the engine to the side, but I figured I would just add a new one to the alt casing instead...

Should I just replace the tiny one? or add on that line

The stock wire is sufficient for stock accesories. I would add directly off the alt case.

My wiring upgrade is a bit different and may interest you if you ever plan on running a lot of power. Instead of grounding my alt to the body I ground it directly to the battery. I do this because I have 2 runs of ground wire from the front to rear batteries.
