it's stable down to .5ohm....bridgible in 2 channel mode and in parellel mode

has real active current servo's and puts out 2400w rms on the weekest note

the drawbacks are the power that is needed to properly operate it but with

a juiced up electrical system the performance is nothing short of awsome

What amplifier is it?

Just had a crazy idea for an amplifier...
Anyone know of an amplifier that is capable of 2kw RMS at any impedance (0.5 to 4) and is made with very high quality parts?

If such an amp existed I would buy it in a heartbeat.

the Drag Queen he had years ago was stable to 1/8th ohm you will never find one though. that and those arent to small

Drag Queen didnt last long. It had an internal battery and was deemed illegal in all competition. And that was at a time when competitions drove the market.

isnt the JBL Crown A3000GTI like this?

the Crown A3000gti and the Crown BPX-2200.1 are both in that catagory

..the A3000gti is slightly lower in power but it has a higher damping factor

yes

his smaller amps are great though. NOTHING like the DQ

just very small power houses

nothing that I know of. there are some small power amps that do that but nothing high power. And like Jake said, you wouldn't have a reason to need the amp to go down to .5

i can see a need for being able to drop down to .5. Say you have (4) single coil 4 ohm subs.
