M MeteorShower 10+ year member Junior Member 21 0 OH Apr 1, 2002 #2 A sub sonic filter is meant to out the extra "garbage" that your subwoofer will try and reproduce if a filter is not present. Not often is this term normally seen these days due to it being originated from home audio equipment but I continue to hear it more and more these days. As far as if that AMP does have a sub sonic filter I am not quite sure but it is definetly a plus to have.
